Well we're almost a third of the way through the season and I'm still plugging along. The holiday campaign is just around the corner; the boys are kicking around that lovely yellow winter ball; it's time to kick things up a notch.
A middle of the road week and time to move on.
First game of choice is Hull City hosting Manchester City. I don't have a ton of analysis on this one but more of a gut feeling. Hull has run into a rough patch that started with losses to Chelsea and Manchester United. Then they carried that hangover into the game against Bolton. Man City is coming off of three losses on the bounce as well. They lost to Boro, Bolton and the newly energized Tottenham. These two appear to be on the same form with Man City having the more glamorous lineup but Hull City is desperate to prove it's worthy of staying up. I just have a feeling that this is the perfect spot for Hull to bounce back. I'm leaning toward Hull City 2-1. The other game I decided on took some flip-flopping before I picked a side. Aston Villa heading to the Emirates to face Arsenal. The Villans are still trying to prove that they can crack the top 4 but losing their last two to Newcastle and Boro doesn't help their case. Arsenal, on the other hand, lost to Stoke and then bounced back to drop Man United. Losing Eboue, Adebayor and Rosicky is never a good thing but I think they'll find their way without them. Personally would love Arsenal to lose but I'm picking them to win 3-2. The rest of the picks:
